elcome to the Texas Deer Association’s Winter Deer Sale! This
year we couldn’t be happier to be back at the gorgeous, family-
friendly La Cantera Resort!
With a new venue and a new outlook, we are extremely excited about
2017. The new year has brought certainty and consistency to our state
regulations. We are finally able to see how our genetics and our market
stack up. Make no mistake, the deer industry is BACK!
Let’s kick the 2017 TDA Sale season off with a bang! The Winter Sale
is made up of every size, type, and style of consignor and showcases
some of the best lots in our industry! Our consignors at these auctions
have shown their support of TDA by bringing their best to the table!
The quality of lots is undeniable on each and every page throughout
this auction catalog.
Additionally, we have brought fairness and equity back into the
auction process. We believe the value of our lots should be determined
by the quality, health, and appeal of our animals. Our live broadcast for lot placements in this catalog shows
the determination of our auction committee and our association to ensure fair treatment for everyone in the
sale.
In addition, many of our consignors have made concessions in terms of when you will be required or able to
take delivery of the deer you purchase; the amount of money owed to TDA at the time of the auction; and/or
any money back guarantee’s for deer purchased that may remain at a lower status facility. Please refer to the
consignor and buyer terms and conditions for reference.
If you are a buyer at these auctions, it is imperative that you are clear on any terms and/or conditions that a
particular consignor has set on their lot/lots. Please understand that announcements from the auction block
will take precedence over printed material in the catalog.
