1. Animals must be owned by consignor and registered in same name six (6) months prior to entry date.
Exception for registration only: The dam of animals born in 2015 must be registered in the consignor’s
name six (6) months prior to entry date. (Breed representatives may require that entries must be first-
owner.)
2. Minimum of 50 percent interest and full possession of animal must sell.
3. Grand Champion Bull and Grand Champion Female from each qualifying breed must be displayed on
Supreme Row from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily following their breed sale until Supreme Row judging on Friday,
Jan. 29. The animal’s care will be the consignor’s responsibility.
4. Judging format will be announced at the Sioux Empire Farm Show.
5. All registration certificates of animals sold will be transferred to a bonafide new owner who is indepen-
dent of the consignor. The Sioux Empire Farm Show Supreme Row Committee reserves the right to
check with breed associations or other sources any time in the future to verify bonafide sales of Supreme
Champions.
6. The Sioux Empire Farm Show Supreme Row Committee reserves the right to determine if rules have
been violated and impose penalties on all individuals and firms involved. Penalties may include withhold-
ing or reimbursement of all awards and being banned from future Sioux Empire Farm Shows.
7. Any deviations or changes to these rules will be the discretion of the Sioux Empire Farm Show and con-
signors and buyers will be informed in an appropriate and timely manner. Decisions of the Sioux Empire
Farm Show Supreme Row Committee are final.
8. The Sioux Empire Farm Show Mayor’s Round-Up & Sale of Champions, which includes awarding the
$12,000 Supreme Row purse, will take place at the Best Western PLUS Ramkota Exhibit Hall on Friday,
Jan. 29. The Supreme Row Grand Champion Bull and Grand Champion Female over all breeds will be
decided at judging Friday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. with the winner announced at the Mayor’s Round-Up & Sale
of Champions. The animals will not be present at the Mayor’s Round-Up & Sale of Champions. Following
judging on Friday morning, each animal on Supreme Row must have its photo taken with the Supreme
Row sponsors. The animals may leave following the photos. Each consignor will receive two complimen-
tary tickets to attend the dinner and program; social hour is at 5:30 p.m., dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the
program starts at approximately 7:30 p.m. Additional tickets are available at the Sioux Empire Farm Show
office.
9. If the chosen Grand Champion from a breed is disqualified or cannot be present to compete for Supreme
Row, the Reserve Grand Champion has the option to compete for the Supreme Row title.
10. One Supreme Row producer will win a one-year lease on a Featherlite trailer, provided by:
