• Never before has Tinney Farms sold such an offering! The buyer will get to spend a day at the ranch and pick two cows from
the entire Tinney herd. Tinney Farms has always studied ansd used EPD’s to assure high performing cattle that stand out as
elite curve benders both genetically and in phenotypes. Trait leaders like Hammer and Hatchet have left their mark both in
trait leader status as well is in National show awards. When you track the growth and carcaass leaders in the Santa Gertrudis
breed one will find an abundant amount of current day cattle being propigated in many herds influenced with Tinney breed-
ing.
• Current management at Tinney Farms is to utilize extensive AI and ET systems to propigate genetics that fit the indusry’s de-
mands. The entire herd has been evaluated by an independent genetic evualation firm. The buyer will be privledged to that
data to find cows that suit their genetic plan. Currently 53 females rank in the top 10% inWW, 51 females rank in the top 10%
for YW and 43 in the top 10% for REA and 50 in the top 10% for HCWT. There are cows to choose from that rank in the Top 10%
for both REA & Marbling concurrently as well as cows ranking in the Top 20% for REA & Marbling as well.
• Terms of offer:
Tinney Farms will retain 100% possession of both animals selected by the buyer as well as all of their natural
progeny current and in the future. Tinney Farms will setup and deliver animals to their Invitro facility that they use for collection for
the partner through the life span of the partnership. All associated cost of collection, freezing and transfer will be at the partner’s
expense when it is their turn to collect.
