Dear Customers & Friends,
A new year is already here and calving season is fast approaching. Amanda and
I hope everyone is doing well and were blessed this past holiday season with friends
and family. We would like to thank everyone who has continued to put their trust in
our program and welcome you to our upcoming Production Sale Monday, February
8, 2016, at Mobridge Livestock, Mobridge, S.D.
This marks 20 years for Highview Charolais Farm. Growing up, my dad Gerald
always used Charolais bulls on his commercial herd. The Charolais-sired calves always
weaned heavy off the cow, performed well in the feedlot & tasted really good too. These
qualities always impressed me, sparking interest in the breed at an early age. What started
out as a beef project grew into a seedstock business. Highview Charolais's greatest reward
is your trust and satisfaction of our progeny. Our desire is to provide proven & profitable
breeding stock. For the past 20 years, Highview Farm has continued to improve our genetics,
constantly striving to offer you only the best, keeping top replacements, using proven A.I.
sires and careful herd sire selections.
Further accentuation of our breeding program. Calving-ease: 100% of sale offering were
born unassisted; Highview cattle are backed by generations of proven calving ease genetics
and satisfaction. Performance: Our weaning weights have been consistently increasing. Our
2015 born bull offering averaged 792 lbs. Quality: Our bulls are fed high roughage ration
for soundness and longevity. The voices of our customers year after year have appreciated
these qualities, along with their eye appeal and gentle dispositions.
This year, Highview is also offering a group of heifers off the top of our pen. Our females
are quiet, docile and are evaluated for udder quality, milking ability and body condition.
Pelvic measurement and regular calving intervals are also considered. We feel the 2015
heifer offering will surely make good brood cows or place well in the show ring.
We strive for customer satisfaction and appreciate your feedback. Amanda and I are
excited to help you make right genetic selections tailored for your operation.
We would like to thank the Schimidgall, Reinbold & Kaehler families for providing an
Angus selection and invite you to join us for a complimentary lunch at 11:30 am CST. Please
feel free to give us a call or stop by for a visit.
We all look forward to serving you in the future!
Sincerely,
Carter Feuchtenberger
