Dear Cattlemen and Women,
Welcome to the ‘Back to Basics’ Sale with Reese and Elly Jo
Wagner.
As you look through this year’s lineup of bulls and heifers, you
will find that we have put more growth in our calving ease bulls and more thickness and ADG in the performance
bulls. Prairie View Vet Clinic does our vet work. Dr. (Neu) Paulsen will be on hand sale day for health papers and any
questions about herd health.
Beth Baloun is our nutritionist for all the cattle. She does a great job of allowing the cattle to show their genetic poten-
tial while staying sound and athletic.
All bulls have passed a breeding soundness test and are free of BVD by
notch test. There are a lot of bred heifers this year that will be a great
opportunity to start a herd or replace some older cows.
We will have ultrasound data available sale day as well as scrotal mea-
surements and a more current weight.
Bulls will sell first this year, then heifers. Black Herefords will sell after
the Angus and Hereford cattle.
Thank you for your support and we hope to see you on sale day.
Sincerely,
Mark Baxte

Welcome to the ‘Back to Basics’ Sale, we appreci-
ate your interest in our operations.
Our goal is to help you raise the type of cattle you
need to be successful. In this current marketing
climate we believe cross-breeding is the key to success. The extra pounds of gain on feeder cattle and the fertility of
the baldie female are well documented. These genetics can be used to move your cattle operation forward, toward
highest profits.
Your calls and visits are always welcome, we look forward to helping your operation advance.
Thank you,
Reese, Elly Jo, Weston, Jocelyn and Abby
