Terms & Conditions
All potential buyers and sellers must register prior to
bidding. Buyers must receive a buyer number to be used
during the bidding process. By registering as a buyer or
seller, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the
auction.
The State of Alabama currently restricts the shipment of
deer into Alabama and all buyers and sellers must comply
with current regulations. The laws and regulations in effect
at the time of the sale will prevail.
All consignors must be a member of the Alabama Deer
Association in good standing. All consignments in the
auction will be charged a 10% sale commission on the last
bid for each lot. Ten percent (10%) of all consigned lots
purchased by bidders/buyers must be paid immediately
at the end of the auction. Purchase of donated lots will
require 100% payment. Payments can be made via
personal check, business check or credit card. All credit
card payments will be charged a 3% convenience fee. Any
purchases not paid the day of the sale will be charged
a late fee of 2.5%. An additional $5.00 per day will be
charged after 5 business days on any outstanding balance.
Any additions or changes to the auction catalog will be
made by the auctioneer or auction announcer from the
auction block at the time of the auction. Items may be
changed or added to at the discretion of the ADA or the
auctioneer.
All lots auctioned will be sold to the highest bidder as
determined by the auctioneer.
The Alabama Deer Association will only be the selling
agency. All contracts are between the buyer and the seller.
The delivery of all lots sold at auction must be arranged
by the buyer and seller. The ADA will not assume any
responsibility for the delivery or transfer of any animals,
materials or services sold at auction.
Representations and guarantees are strictly between the
consignor and the buyer. The ADA recommends that the
buyer assures himself/herself of the quality and condition
of the lot before purchasing and delivery of the animal,
material or service.
The ADA and any other persons involved with the
production of the auction will not be held liable for any
accidents that may occur during the function or event.
Any and all disputes during the auction will be settled by
the auctioneer. The auctioneer’s decision on any bidding
dispute or misunderstanding is FINAL.
SALE DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS TAKE PRECEDENT OVER
