This lot ranks in the top 30% for eight traits. His sire, Coronado, was
the high selling bull through the 2011 GT and Suhn Cattle Co. Bull
Sale for $25,000. His dam originated at Schmidt Farms and now resides
at Draggin’ M Ranch and has the distinction of being to the highly
respected, calving ease sire, SF Dependence 535U24. With the 535 cow
family on the top and bottom side of his pedigree it is interesting to note
that this individual traces back to two full sister sired by Tyson 535B2
and 535B15. 535A3 ranks in the top 10% of the breed for weaning
weight and yearling weight, the top 15% for CED, birth weight, M&G
and scrotal, the top 20% for REA and the top 30% for Milk. His own
performance backs up his EPD’s with an adjusted weaning weight of 733
lb. to ratio 111, and adjusted yearling of 1356 to ratio 118, and adjusted
REA of 15.83 to ratio 114 and an adjusted IMF of 4.47 to ratio 106. This
is tremendous for an individual that ranks in the top 15% of the breed
for birth weight. This herd sire prospect also exhibits tremendous rib
shape, depth of flank, bone and thickness. He has an
easy way about him, is very fluid in his movement
and is the type of multi-generation Brangus that will
help propel this breed’s future popularity.
