PROVEN DAUGHTER OF 415R23
415X7 would have to rank as, if not the most but certainly, one of the most
proven and prolific daughters of the $70,000 415R23 who was originally
purchased by Cavender and is now owned by Bushley Creek, Cross N and
Draggin M. As a six-year-old cow 415X7 has produced close to 60 progeny
to date and has been successfully flushed to Hombre, Chisholm, Passport,
Tradition and Benchmark. A Chisholm son was a highlight lot and top selling
bull through the 2015 GT@Cavenders Sale when he was purchased by
Johnston Brangus for $20,000. A daughter of this great donor by Hombre
has already earned a spot in the donor line up at Cavender’s plus several
others that Joe and Kenneth have their eye on are potential candidates to
move into the void that this female will create in their embryo program. In
addition, do not overlook the two daughters of 415X7 that are also in this
sale sired by Tradition and Passport. They are the kind that could graduate
into the donor programs of their new owners. A son by Passport is also one of
the promising young bulls that were just weighed off test and will be one of
the top young bulls in the offering at Cavender’s on the 19th of November.
Your opportunity to purchase a proven donor female that from the sire
side is somewhat of an outcross to the popular sires most commonly used
thru the GT program today. She has the phenotype to match up well to the
exciting young sires that are either in production or coming into production
in the near future. Another female that does not possess an explosive set of
EPDs but has proven herself to work to a host of different sires and has just
reached the prime of her life and whose progeny will be
a factor in the future of the breed and the new owners
program. She is safe in calf to Tradition whose ET calves
from 415X7 were some of the best as calves that we saw
last fall.
