Dear Brangus Friends,
The GENETRUST partners,
our staff at CRC, Gail and
I want to welcome you to
our annual GENETRUST
at Chimney Rock sale. This
will be CRC’s 10th sale and
8th with our GENETRUST
partners – something we are very proud of. As always
the partners have brought a great set of cattle for your
consideration.
In this letter last year we wrote that the momentum we
were experiencing at the time was sustainable. I believe
that with the stabilization of the calf market, a positive
outlook from most economists, ample moisture and good
consumer demand we have reached a stable level and can
look to the future with confidence.
As you get into the catalog you will find another
outstanding set of registered females. The quality is
extraordinarily deep from the spring open heifers all the
way through the proven donors. From one end of the
pens to the other you will find cattle that can advance any
program.
We are equally excited about the bull offering. It is
stacked top to bottom with 150 stout, breeding age
bulls that are ready to go to work in any part of the
country. You can buy these bulls with great confidence.
It is our goal to achieve 100% of our bulls to sell to have
genomically enhanced EPDs which increase the accuracy
and dependability of their EPD projections equating to
more assurance in your selections and more profit in your
pocket.
As always the commercial female offering is loaded with
front pasture type cattle. With females ranging from open
heifers ready to breed all the way through 3-5 year old
cows in the prime of their life, we will have our largest
and best female offering to date. These cattle come from
GENETRUST customers and are backed by GENETRUST
genetics.
Please make plans to come Friday, November 4th, to view
the cattle, enjoy the registered Brangus female sale that
evening and as always join the GENETRUST partners for
Gail’s Customer Appreciation dinner. Plan on coming
back Saturday the 5th for a hamburger lunch and the bull
and commercial sale at noon.

Mike Weathers is no longer a member
of GENETRUST, choosing to take his
program in a different direction. Mike

as a friend whom I’ve grown to respect
