It is only fitting that the first time we offer the right to flush of the legendary Miley Cottontail would be offered, is at the North American Simmental Sale.
In 2009 this young and upcoming donor was offered for sale as Lot # 1 in this very ring. Here is how she was described: Powerful, massive topped,
huge hipped and a ton of capacity, yet at the same time is very feminine and beautifully made. Those words ring true today. Her elite donor status has
been earned by producing the likes of High Voltage, Gunslinger, Tailgater and a host of other outstanding Simmental sires. Her daughters such as Sweet
Gem, Cotton Candy, Cottontail 64Z have also been sale toppers and have become a premier donors in their own right. In the 2012 Head of the Class
sale, we purchased one-half of Miley. During the past three years she has produced well for our program; Cotton Candy-a stunning red donor that sold
for $15,600 in the last year’s New Direction Sale along with High Cotton- a young sire that you will be hearing about next spring. We have capitalized
by building a herd of top daughters to continue the future of this great cow family for many years to come. Over the past year Miley’s live progeny have
averaged just shy of $15,000. This summer Fenton Farms Simmentals purchased the other half interest in Miley from Sanders Ranch and we are
excited to work with them. Both programs decided to offer this IVF flush at this year’s prestigious NAILE Select Sale as a tribute to one of the greatest
Simmental cows that the breed has known.

Miley is currently at Trans Ova and this flush will be preformed in the fall of 2015. Miley’s ability to produce consistently and top sales time and time
