Dear Cattlemen,
It has been our extreme pleasure to assist Gregg, Justin, Lyle and Lance in the
presentation of their 2014 production. As always, we are overwhelmed with
professionalism and attention to detail that has become the trademark of this family
organization in our office. As a customer you should appreciate, as we do, the prompt
collection of pertinent data, the consistent forward strides in genetic potential and the
customer service that is the hallmark of Cottonwood Angus Farms.
Each year Gregg samples some of the breed’s most distinguished A.I. sires and then uses them on a comparable
basis to his own herd sires which are the best that his extensive knowledge and resources can acquire. This year is
no different. You will find a significant number of Connealy Stimulus 667 progeny that can “walk and talk” with
any sire group in the offering and many females carry the promising service of multi-trait sire Ponca Creek Pepper.
These “cutting edge” calving ease, performance, and carcass trait genetics will put you in position to take advantage
of a volatile beef industry that rewards efficiency and quality.
Many of the bred cows in the offering are “front pasture” cows that fit in any
progressive herd roster. They only leave Cottonwood Angus because of the concerted
effort here to move up the average calving date.
