TThe Red Alliance program is built in the same
manner as large ranches that utilize Cooperator
Herd systems. Our program is built on the exact
same principles with the only exception being
that each producer retains their ranch identity
(Herd Prefix tattoo). We do not add a master
prefix before the cooperator herd’s prefix.
Our members strongly subscribe to the use of
artificial insemination, embryo transfer and
outstanding herd sires in order to stay on the
leading edge of genetic opportunities for our
customers. It is the same general philosophy
employed by all of the top breeder programs in
the U.S. We don’t profess to be smarter, better
or more progressive than other top programs
around the country, but we know that we
provide genetics and performance that are
equal to the best in the country. What we will
tell you is that when you look past all of the
hyperbole professed by others in advertising
and take a look at what we provide, our cattle
are as good as anyone’s in the country.
Red Alliance bulls are screened and evaluated
multiple times - non-performers are eliminated.
We develop the best bulls possible to maximize
your profitability!
The Red Alliance Program
3J Farms / Jeff and Jamie Earles
/ 580-220-8160
3J Farms is located in Ravia, Oklahoma. They maintain a herd of 175+ cows. The herd was built by selecting
females from top breeders from around the country and by aggressively using artificial insemination and
embryo transfer as a way to further improve upon genetic value of the herd. They strive to produce high
quality bulls for commercial and seed stock customers alike with high performing, yet balanced EPDs.
Dorman Red Angus / Eric and Farah Dorman: 580-658-0606
Dorman Red Angus is located in Bray, Oklahoma (Southwestern Oklahoma). This family has been in the cattle
business for 25+ years. Their herd primarily consists of Red Angus cattle hand selected to produce
performance quality seed stock. A primary goal is to raise easy keeping, high quality cattle that can be used
for a production herd or to excel in the show ring. Leveraging genetic opportunities they utilize an artificial
insemination and embryo transfer using IVF (invitro-fertilization) program along with leading edge quality Red
Angus herd sires.
Denton and Dad Red Angus / Robert Halpain / 918-822-0763
Located 12 miles north of Tahlequah Oklahoma. They have been raising Red Angus cattle since 2001. The
herd was started with Red Angus bulls and using them on Simmental cows to sell as replacement heifers. They
liked the heifers so much they decided to start building a herd of registered Red Angus. In 2003 they took the
transition further and purchased 25 bred heifers and 1 Red Angus bull. The herd has grown to over 100 head
of Red Angus. Their seed stock bulls and heifers are offered annually through the Red Alliance. From time to
time they also offer show heifers for sale. They have experience in the show ring and have been showing Red
Angus in Junior and Open shows since 2009. Their primary focus is on maximizing genetic potential while
keeping cattle with style and great conformation.
Armstrong Red Angus
Derek Armstrong: 479-422-1854 / Darrell Armstrong: 479-633-2441
Located in Rogers, AR, Armstrong Red Angus has selectively built a performance based registered Red Angus
herd that began in 2000. The focus has been centered on acquiring top females from across the country and
aggressively using artificial insemination. This program has been strategically positioning their efforts to
become the premier Red Angus breeder in Arkansas and compete with the best in the country.
Flaming Livestock Company / Tim & Ryan Flaming / 620-382-4894
The Flaming family operates farming and ranching operations located in central Kansas running commercial
cow/calf and registered Red Angus herds. They also grow various grains and hay. Their breeding philosophy is
focused on crossing terminal sires with moderate sized maternal lines to capitalize on maximizing growth in
the calf without excessive inputs for cattle that are larger than the environment can support. The herd was
selected for phenotype combined with balanced EPD’s and focused on adequate growth and positive carcass
traits from cow families proven to produce these types of cattle. Embryo transfer and AI are used as tools for
maximizing herd performance.
