Owned by: Myers Angus - Harrodsburg, KY
•7 PATHFINDERS •M197 is from the Queen family that has been developed in the Myers Angus
program since 1985. The Queens are cattle of exceptional phenotype and high maternal traits.
They are the most dependable cow family in the Myers program in terms of always producing ex-
ceptional quality, good looking, high performing cattle. She posts a birth ratio 101, a weaning
ratio of 101 and a yearling ratio of 103. This excellent milking daughter of Onward exhibits extra
length of body with a tremendously long and level hip. She transmits a sharp look to her progeny
and Myers Ten Times M103 was a featured son by AAR Ten X 7008 SA that sold in the 2014 Boyd
Bull Sale. He is a full brother to this embryo mating. M197 is a true outcross in terms of carcass
value and this mating by AAR Ten X 7008 SA will accentuate that rarity. M197 is viewed as an
outlier for excellent phenotype combined with outcross carcass genetics which is a rare combination
in the Angus breed today.

building committee with representatives from Central Kentucky Angus Sales, INC., the corporation that
owns the sale facilities property, and Central Kentucky Angus association, the primary tenant of the fa
cilities, has been appointed in order to plan the renovation and/or construction necessary to bring the fa
cilities up to a condition satisfactory with both organizations, and to plan a Capital Campaign to fund the necessary
projects. This sale, along with the other CKAA sales in the near future, will feature some lots or a percentage of
the sales from other lots that will be designated to go to the capital campaign. The embryos that sell as Lot 1, the
semen and the tank, the heifer that sells as Lot 2 as well as 5%of the net proceeds of the Windward Oaks consign
ment, lots 5465, will be designated to go to the capital campaign fund. We would like to ask all stockholders of
the corporation and members of CKAA to consider a pledge to the fund either from the sale of donated cattle,
property or an outright gift to the fund. Some inactive stockholders might even consider donating your stock back
to the corporation. The committee will be working fervently during the time from now until the April, 2018 CKAA
sale, so that the renovation project can begin immediately after the April Sale and can be completed prior to the
September, 2018 Ladies Day Sale.
