DLW Wartime 486Z ET • Sells as Lot 4.
DLW Ms Matron 802U • Dam of Lot 4.
Wartime is a special blend of the two best cows to
ever walk the pastures here, 408P and 8862H (the
mother to DLW Stout 695S). In addition to that, he
may be out of the most exciting young donor with a
bright future here as well. Ms Matron 802U was pur-
chased by our good friend and partner Chris Davison
out of this sale as a bred heifer in 2010. Her first
bull calf was a Denver pen bull that sold for $6,000
in 2011. She was then flushed and mated back for a
natural calf. That first flush was to an exciting young
bull by the name of Wardon 24W, whom nursed the
great 408P donor cow that now is owned with TJB
Gelbvieh in Georgia. The results of the flush have
been startling, one bull and four heifer calves! Three
heifers retained as replacements, one heifer sold in
December as a high seller ( Ms Wardon 2020Z) at
$9,750 to Bar None Gelbvieh in KY. Several breed-
ers from all over the USA sought her out as a Homo
Black, Homo Polled PB female that read and looked
so distinguishing. Cattlemen take notice - here is the
only bull in the flush that has cow power, cow history
and fresh genetics for the long haul of the industry.
Take a look here the story may only be in the early
chapters.
