To continue the saga:
After we established that Vidalia 24Y would be in
Emporia Kansas, Bryan and I agreed that if the Under the Influence Sale
had the awesome dynamics that we wanted to build in the fall of 2012, we
had to follow Lot 1 with a heavy hitter of magnitudinal proportions. I cannot
imagine finding a higher profile, more money driving Red Angus genetic
package than this maternal sister to Mulberry sired by New Trend 22D !
Remember that the Brylor Ranch is the founding Pioneer Herd of Red
Angus in Canada and their cattle have built a reputation of quality
throughout their 50 year history. The tradition that will follow in years to
come in Emporia, Kansas most definitely will be determined by Lot 1 and 2
in this years 2012 event. Plans are already “beyond the drawing board” for
a back-to-back 2 day, 2 sale event for 2013. In the years and sales to come,
I predict Lot 2 will be a major and influential component of many of the
