Fellow Cattlemen,
Welcome to our production bull and heifer sale. Charlet, Lee and I want to thank
our past, present and future customers for showing interest and supporting our
program. We’ve always felt that our customers have and always will be our great-
est means of advertising.
In 2001 we entered the Angus cattle into our operation with the faith and trust
that Earl & Dorothy Nelson, of Fairdale Angus Ranch, put in our program. Thank
you Earl & Dorothy. Since then we have been aggressively pursuing the best ge-
netics available through a combination of purchases and extensive ET work.
Our goal is to develop bulls and females which are functional, powerful, good
footed, gentle individuals that move freely and are athletic.
About 50% of bulls and heifers will be 50K tested and we hope to have results by
sale day. (And a group of potential carriers).
Our customers tell us the bulls work hard and come home looking good. We
don’t max out our bulls for that reason. If we can gain around 3 lbs. per day – I’m
good. We breed in calving ease and as much performance as we can.
