✭
As of this writing, only 52 cows in the entire breed can match her
combination of Docility EPD and $W index, with nine of the others
carrying the SydGen prefix, including the dams of Lots 10 and 340.
✭
✭
Son, SydGen Forward 9034, was a featured bull calf in our 2009
sale to Wagonhammer Ranches, Albion, NE, where he has done a
great job, earning a +15 CED coupled with a +98 YW EPD in their
program.
✭
✭
Another son was second high-selling bull in the 2011 SydGen
Influence Sale, at $5,500 to Rich Hall, Massena, IA.
✭
✭
Two top daughters are retained, including the dam of Lot 369.
✭
✭
Dam was one of the higher growth daughters of SAF Royal Queen
5084,
with flush sibs to this cow also in production at Sterita Park
in Lucindale, SA, AUS.
✭
✭
5084
produced 14 sons who served as herd sires in seedstock
herds, and were used back in this program, with several still listed
in our reference sire division. Perhaps no other foundation cow
combined calving-ease with growth, as well as the legacy of docil-
ity best exemplified by her first great son, SAF Connection.

The Deal
In our 2011 sale, at the last minute, we offered a deal for buyers of open donors, that we
would attempt to flush them here, on farm. We will offer that option again this year, with
flush dates of December 6 and 7. If the buyer desires, we would keep the cow here, set her
up, and flush her on-farm with Trans Ova Genetics. We will pay all of the flush expense and
care for the cow, for 50% of the embryo production. We will attempt to have the following
cows set up: Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 237, 238, 239, 240 and 245.
