Herd Health and Interstate Health Papers:
Sarratt Farms is certified and
accredited for Brucellosis and Tuberculosis. The herd health is under
the guidance of Doug Chappell, DVM, who will be at the sale site to
write interstate health papers.
Sale Terms:
The cattle sell under the Terms and Conditions as adopted
by the American Angus Association as recommended for private farm
production sales.
Bull Guarantee:
All bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam
including a semen test and are guaranteed to be breeders. The
bulls are guaranteed to be structurally sound and to complete one
successful breeding season up to 90 days after the auction.
Food:
Lunch will be served sale day.
Settlement:
All cattle should be paid for in full prior to transporting
cattle from the premises. Payment with cash or your good check is
acceptable.
Trucking and Delivery:
Free delivery to bull buyers in SC, NC and GA.
All buyers are entitled to a $50 deduction in total purchase price if he
elects to haul his own cattle.
Insurance and Care of Cattle:
Cattle become buyers’ risk as soon as sold.
Mortality insurance can be purchased to protect your cattle at the
sale site. Every precaution will be taken by Sarratt Farms to handle
your cattle properly and protect them from injury. Bulls can stay at
Sarratt for 30 days post auction at no cost. After 30 days, a $2.00 per
day boarding fee will be charged.
