Welcome Cattlemen & Friends!
On behalf of the McConnell family, we would like to invite you to our “Cattleman’s Advantage Bull Sale” on
Friday, February 1, 2013, 12:30 MST, at the ranch, Dix, Nebraska. We really appreciate your interest and
support in our program.
We are offering a larger selection of bulls that we refer to as outcross pedigree bulls. This AI sire group
consists of bloodlines from Connealy Consensus 7229, Cole Creek Black Cedar 46P, Dynamite 1356, Madison
10477, Really Windy 4097, Will Role Model, Emblazon 854E and Cole Creek Cedar Ridge IV. This outcross
pedigree mating works well with such bloodlines as: In Focus, TC Aberdeen, New Designs, Traveler and
Objectives.
We at McConnell Angus, as a family, have set our goals high and continue to focus our breeding program
on raising the right kind of cattle for today’s demands. Our efforts continue to pursue feed efficiency and
fertility with maternal traits promoting longevity in our cattle. We believe our bulls will sire the type of
calves that will excel in soundness, longevity, fleshing ability and maternal traits.
This year again, the “Cattleman’s Advantage Bull Sale” offers 100+ yearlings and fall raised bulls with a rating
of 1-4 star calving ease heifer bulls. Also specializing in high altitude PAP tested bulls. We pastured our older
bulls at Laramie, WY with a PAP test elevation of 7350’. If you are in need of high altitude bulls you can be
sure these bulls will work for you.
This year our sale will be broadcast on DVAuction. You do need to register with them at least a day before the
sale at
