TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1)
We will abide by the rules set forth by the
American Simmental Association.
2)
Bulls will be sold to the highest bidder.
3)
Disputes between bidders will be settled by
auctioneer by reopening the bidding among the
parties involved. The auctioneer’s decision
shall be final.
4)
Terms of the sale are cash or check at time of
sale unless other arrangements are made prior
to the sale. Checks must be in U.S. funds.
5)
Bulls are guaranteed to be breeders as defined
by the ASA (able to settle healthy cows by the
time the bull is 18 months of age), with the
exceptions also listed by ASA. Bulls claimed to

expense. Seller has right to test any returned
animals. Seller will replace non-breeders
returned in good body condition with a bull of
equal value or refund purchase price.
6)
Each animal becomes the property of and
therefore is also the risk of buyer as soon as it is

seller to see that animals are fed and cared for
free of charge to purchaser, until loaded for
shipment or for 24 hours after the sale date,
whichever occurs first.
7)
Announcements from the auction block shall
take precedence over material printed in
catalog.
8)
For those who cannot attend the sale, we will
honor a telephone order and guarantee your
phone purchase to meet your request when

Certificates of registry will be supplied by the

As we have no control over the acts of God, we

healthy sale day.
11)
In case of DNA testing, Koepplin’s Black
Simmentals and guest consignors are in no way
responsible for incorrect test results. Bulls said
to be homozygous black are tested by
GeneSeek, Inc.
12)
Seller may retain semen rights on specific lots
as published in the catalog and/or announced
from the auction block.
SELLING:
60 BLACK YEARLING BULLS
& 2 RED YEARLING BULLS
Buyers who wish to have us feed their bulls
will be charged a $2.25 per day per bull
starting the day after the sale.
Howdy Folks,
Wow, where did all our grass go so fast?
It’s hard to believe in one year how things can
change from flood to drought. In our country the
crops were really great without much moisture.
The hay, we won’t talk about it. I just thank God I
had a lot of carry over, especially corn silage.
Anyhow, the boys have been fed the same
as always: corn silage, a Hubbard heavy weight
pellet mixed with some shelled corn and all the
long mixed hay they wanted. The bulls look great.
They sure had good weather; kind of up and down
but did stay healthy through it all. It’s still nice to
have a vet in the family, even if I don’t need her
vet assistance much. But don’t get me wrong, I
still need her help. She did have off for a little
while in early fall to give me another grandson,
though. Marci & I sure enjoy those grandkids.
Disposition is a high priority for me. But
somehow this year I am a little disappointed on
the Odin-sired calves. Radio going and all the
hand feeding sure does help.
We hope to see you at the sale. And wish
you the best with your purchases. Stay healthy and
hope to see ya down the trail. May God bless you
all.
