SALE LOCATION:
Kentucky Exposition Center. Located just across the Watterson
Expressway (I-264) from the Louisville Airport at the junction of I-65 and I-
264. See map on page 4.

TRANSPORTATION:
Louisville is served by many of the major airlines. The air-
port, motel headquarters and fairgrounds are located within ten minutes of each
other.
LOT NUMBERS:
The tags on animals will correspond with the lot numbers
printed in this book. Ear tags on calves at the side of dam correspond with the
dam’s number.
SETTLEMENT:
Satisfactory settlement must be made with the clerks prior to
the removal of any purchases from the sale facilities. Satisfactory settlement is
payment in full unless prior arrangements have been made. Absentee buyers
will be invoiced and purchases will be released when payment is received.
HEALTH PAPERS:
Each lot will have an individual health certificate. Out of state
buyers should be aware of any special requirements and/or permits of their re-
spective states. The Expo veterinarian will be available to assist with permits.
Buyers must take their Bill of Sale to the Livestock Office to receive their health
papers.
DELIVERY:
Consignors will help with trucking arrangements as much as possible.
Cattle need to be moved as soon as possible after the sale.
Please notify clerks
at time of settlement of your shipping arrangements.
FOOD:
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the Expo.
LIABILITY:
Neither the Kentucky Angus Association, Kentucky Department of
Agriculture, the seller, sale managers, nor any other person connected with the
sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise.
BUYER NUMBERS:
Please register with the sale clerks to receive a Buyer Num-
ber for the Kentucky Angus Sweepstakes Sale.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
This sale is being conducted under the Suggested Terms
& Conditions recommended by the American Angus Association, effective June
7, 2012. Copies will be available at the clerks desk or online at

A special feature of the Sweepstakes will be the registration of
Juniors for four $200 awards, to be used toward the purchase
price of any animal purchased by that junior in the Sweep-
stakes sale. The names of all juniors who register will be placed
in a container and four names will be drawn just prior to the
sale. If any of the juniors’ names that are drawn purchase an
animal in that sale, he/she will receive a $200 credit toward
the purchase of that animal. Registration will begin at 9:00
a.m. and continue until 11:30 a.m. Saturday. YOU MUST
BE PRESENT AT THE TIME OF THE DRAWING TO WIN,
and the awards are non-transferrable. Any animal purchased
with one of these awards would receive double premium funds
if consigned to a future Kentucky Angus Sweepstakes.
