In the selling of registered Red Poll cattle, a complete
statement of facts shall bemade, alongwith all information
on animal sold.
Sale Title - This shall be a definite statement of
dispersal, partial dispersal or consignment, as the case
may be, designating any cattle reserved.
a) Dispersal Sale: Complete sell out, no salable cattle
reserved. If a member of the firm or family wishes
to purchase any animal to establish another herd,
this fact should be stated in the catalog.
b) Partial Dispersal: Sellingpart of theherd. Explanation
must be made.
c) Consignment Sale: Sale of animals consigned by
different breeders. It is recommended that both
consignor and breeder be listed on the pedigree of
each animal in a consignment sale catalog.
1. The highest bidder shall be the buyer.
2. The auctioneer selling will settle any dispute as to the
bids by declaring all bids off and reselling the animal
in question.
3. Cattle are property of purchasers as soon as sold by
auctioneer, but will be cared for free of charge until
delivered to buyer.
4. Terms of the sale are cash, unless other arrangements
have been made with the owner before the sale.
5. Cattle are sold subject to health regulations of any state
or country.
6. Breeding dates for animals that have been bred and
not listed in the catalog will be given sale day.
7. If errors are noted in the catalog, announcements will
take precedence over the matter in the catalog.
8. Each animal is recorded, or will be recorded in the Herd
Books of the AmericanRed Poll Association. Certificates
of registry and transfer will be recorded by the seller
and furnished the purchaser free of charge.
9. Owner warrants clear title to the property and right to
sell the same.
10. Unless otherwise noted in a catalogor announced from
the auction stand, each animal is sold as sound.
