e would like to take this moment to extend a genuine thank you to the wonderful friends that we have made in the Limousin
breed and invite you to join us on November 24th as we offer this excellent set of cattle for public auction. This young herd
gives you, as potential buyers, the opportunity to integrate some of the breed's elite genetics into your new or existing programs.
Combining current pedigrees and genetic tools with traditional production based selection, we are confident that the cattle in this sale will
accomplish great things in the years to come.
Since starting here in 2009, I have been steadfast to my plan of producing moderate framed, easy fleshing, sound structured cattle with
workable dispositions. The majority of the mature cowherd has been selected down based on reproductive efficiency and maternal traits and
the young cattle are a result of our plan to build a program. I encourage you to call and talk to us about the cattle in the offering, as I have
always done, I will be sure to openly advise you on what cattle will work in your given scenario.
I personally want to thank Mr. Jim Justice for allowing me an avenue to get reacquainted with a breed
that has come so far in the past 30 years since I was at Worrell Land and Cattle Company, the discipline of
the breeders across the country to address issues head on and produce the functional cattle that we have today
is truly commendable. Working at the Greenbrier with some of the finest cattle in the breed has certainly been
an incredible journey and privilege that I will always be grateful for. Because we are impressed with the cattle
we have had a chance to work with here at The Greenbrier, we have chosen to establish a small herd of
Limousin and Lim-Flex cattle of our own, and look forward to visiting with many of you in the future.
