Fellow cattlemen and friends,
I wrote in our spring 2012 bull sale catalog that 2011 will go down as one of the most challenging years for
American agriculture. Little did I know last February that we would again experience one of the worst droughts in
history just in a different area of the country.
Our industry continues to see liquidation of cow numbers with surprisingly strong prices. It is still our belief that
when we get through this period of drought that the future of this industry looks very promising. For those who have
forage and water available now is an excellent time to improve upon your cowherd genetics and increase numbers to
take advantage of the potential price increases that everyone is predicting for the future.

GENETRUST will offer an outstanding sale offering carrying the genetics of the
great sire Csonka of Brinks 30R4. This is a young, productive set of females that are on the cutting edge genetically and
are all of the quality that they would have been utilized in our own programs. The offering, will include not only proven
donors, but young productive 3 in 1’s, plus bred heifers and open heifers that have the potential to make powerful
females in your herd’s future. Several of these open heifers will also be of show quality. We have reduced our numbers
some from last year but not our quality.
Saturday we will sell the deepest quality set of Brangus and Ultrablack bulls we have ever offered. Some of the
most interesting herd sire prospects are here for your evaluation; plus, a well conditioned and developed set of range
bulls that are ready to go to work for you. We have anticipated a strong demand for Brangus and Ultrablack bulls this fall
and have increased our numbers. Rest assured that we have not sacrificed on quality to get there. The bulls offered will
be of better quality with better data than any we have ever offered.
It is difficult to find good commercial Brangus females and as of writing this our numbers will be only at 200 but
they are excellent quality and will make be a great investment for those of you who need to replenish numbers.

through each of the bulls we have in our AI lineup and share with you from our experience how we feel each of these
