Through GT sales 126 head have sold for nearly One
Half Million dollars over the last three years to average
$3,751!
In December of 2009 The Oaks had the
opportunity to acquire the remaining ½ semen interest
in Csonka and they immediately made that decision.
Thus becoming sole owners of this prominent sire who
was becoming more popular and valuable each day.
Upon acquiring full ownership in Csonka the decision
was made to syndicate the bull in the USA only. Along
with the capable help of Joe Fuller a syndication plan
was prepared and offered for sale in the spring of 2010.
To date twelve breeders have purchased syndication
shares that provided them exclusive rights to semen
for inherd use. No semen has or will be sold domestically
until the syndication closes.
We have discussed this sire’s ability to produce
sought after progeny that demand top prices at auction
but even more phenomenally is the amount of semen that
has been merchandized on him through syndication--
domestic and international sales. With it growing daily
to date he has sold in excess of $367,622 in total semen
sales--$181,642 in domestic sales and $185,980 to foreign
markets. Worldwide producers recognize the value of this
great sire and the demand continues to grow and keeps
inventories at a low level.
GT, in January of 2012, made the decision to
build this entire female offering around the genetics of
Csonka, a bull that few can match as to his popularity and
long term use within the breed not only through his sons
but also his daughters. The cattle represented on these
pages predominately carry his genetics through him, his
sons, and grandsons as progeny or through the service
that they carry. This awesome set of females are proof
positive that he and his progeny do not just sire superior
sons but also daughters that are at the top of their class--
females that exude power but remain feminine and neat
uddered. They are great calf raisers and retain a frame
score that makes them acceptable for today’s demand for
functionally efficient females producing the right kind
for today’s progressive minded cowmen. This sale offers
an unprecedented opportunity to add the genetics of
this phenomenal sire to your program. Genetics that will
remain popular and in demand throughout the future of
this great breed of cattle.
