They will be the same as those recommended by the American Simmental
Association. Registration papers will be issued if buyer so desires. EPD’s may change from the time the
catalog is printed to the time registration papers are issued.
Guarantee:
All bulls have been semen tested and are guaranteed breeders. If a bull proves to be a non-
breeding animal, Christensens’ will replace the bull with one of like type if possible. Otherwise the buyer
will receive credit minus salvage value at the 2014 sale. Please notify us by September 1, 2013. For your
own protection, you may choose to purchase mortality insurance on your purchase.
Terms of the Sale:
Please plan to pay for your purchase sale day or make arrangements with
Christensens immediately following the sale. No animal will be loaded out without
payment and shipping arrangements.
Health:
Cattle can be tested to go anywhere in the US or Canada. All animals have tested BVD negative.
Semen Interest:
Some of these bulls may develop into a herdsire from which we may want to collect
semen in the future. Therefore, we would like to maintain a 25% semen interest in each bull in the
sale. This could mean collecting semen in your “off season,” at our expense. This will not interfere with
ownership of the bulls or salvage value. On the “right” bull, it could be valuable to both the
buyer and the seller. Bulls are semen tested.
Announcements:
Announcements made sale day take precedence over printed material in the sale
catalog. Anyone attending this sale attends at his/her own risk. Neither Christensen Simmental nor any of
the sale force will be held responsible for any personal injury while attending this sale.
