WELCOME TO CHRISTENSEN
SIMMENTAL 42nd ANNUAL SALE!
Gosh where did that time go?? Even with the drier conditions
of the Summer/Fall of 2012, we weaned a REALLY nice set of
calves. The 2012 calf crop has continued to gain and do well.
This is our 49th year of AI breeding beef cows. Each mating
is achieved by using the best genetics available. Bulls are
selected to sire growthy feeder calves to sell off the cow, after
a back grounding period or as finished cattle. Bulls are also
selected to sire exceptional replacement heifers.
The bulls received their calf hood vaccinations in the Spring,
with boosters in the fall. The bulls have been semen tested.
We look forward to seeing you on April 27, and please join us
for lunch.

Cattle will be viewed on video screens in the sale ring and not be run through the ring, the auction format will remain the same.
Cattle will be penned outside the barn for viewing prior to and during the auction.
We feel you will get a better view of the cattle on the video than you do in a small ring.
The videos will be available to be seen prior to the sale on DV Auction under production sales.
