This Wise Guy daughter sells as Lot 105
Wise Guy is a red-and-white Heat Wave son out of a Maine-cross
cow that Korky Wise purchased from Bonham Show Cattle. This
bull is easily the best non-promoted bull in the club calf business.
Wise Guy is big ribbed, heavy muscled and extremely sound, and he
breeds as consistently as any bull ever used at Bar A. We have not
seen another Heat Wave son that will put as much top in them and
still maintain soundness. An added bonus is that he is red and will
not throw rat tails on Charolais.
Each of the five bull calves by Wise Guy born at Bar A last fall made
the spring 2012 sale, averaging over $5,000 with a top of $7,800.
