Bull
Development
Feeding & Development:
Bulls are gathered at weaning time (6-9 months of age) and
brought to the ranch headquarters. A complete health vaccination
and parasite control program is followed. Bulls are tattooed in the
right ear and freeze branded for individual identification. Stucky
Ranch hot brand is applied. Bulls are sorted into feeding pens by
sire groups and accustomed to free choice prairie hay and a hand
fed pelleted ration. Triangle H Grain & Cattle then provides the
bull development. The bull ADG (average daily gain) is deter-
mined by a starting test weight taken at Triangle H and then an
ending test weight taken approximately 90 days later. The bulls
are then grown with feedstuffs to produce a very athletic and toned
condition at sale time. Extreme care is taken to produce a bull that
will have good breeding longevity.

Carcass Evaluation:
All bulls are evaluated using ultrasound technology to determine
amount of intramuscular fat, ribeye area, rib fat thickness, and
rump fat thickness at yearling time. Casey Worrell, Harper, Texas,
a CUP certified technician, has performed our ultrasound evalu-
ations. These evaluations are processed and are on file with the
American Angus Association. They are used in formulating the
ultrasound carcass database and result in EPDs and progeny ratios
that are used to determine the breeding value of current sires and
projections for young sires.
Reproductive Guarantee:
Stucky Ranch guarantees all bulls sold to be satisfactory breed-
ers for their first breeding season (maximum 90 days) following
the sale. If there is a reproductive problem, contact Gordon im-
mediately and a replacement bull will be provided if available, or

will be issued for the replacement of one animal. This guarantee
does not cover illness or death of the animal. The Stucky Ranch
guarantee warranties your overall satisfaction of the bull.

men interest in any bull sold. Any bulls in which a 1/2 revenue
sharing semen interest is retained will be included on the sale day
supplement. The buyer owns full possession of these bulls, and
has full control of possession rights. If Stucky Ranch would like
to collect semen on these bulls, it will be collected at the buyer’s
convenience and the seller’s expense. If the buyer wishes to par-
ticipate in semen sales, the owners will share in the expenses and
