The top selling, high performing and phenotypic standout of the 2011 calf
crop that scanned the largest ribeye ever produced at Schurrtop. His dam is
a top producing, perfect uddered broody female with a shorter than average
gestation length. He has a huge, thick, butterfly top with a massive rump and
rear quarter. Plus, he has a wide base, natural curvature to his rib shape and
super fleshing ability with the natural feed efficient phenotype. He is the 3rd
biggest ribeye EPD bull of the entire breed. From birth to carcass he does

This easy calving, high performance sire is second to none for a combination
of performance, exceptional muscle and true carcass merit. His EPDs are
second to none for ribeye, marbling, calving ease and total performance. He
is in the top 2% of the breed for ribeye and top 2% for marbling. His daughters
in production are some of the finest females we have ever produced. This bull
is powerful from end to end with awesome muscle volume, a butterfly top and
a massive and expressive rump and rear quarter. He is homozygous polled. His
own carcass scan data was off the charts for ribeye and marbling; and he puts it
all together in a neat, attractive and extra tame, consistent producing package.

Twenty One is a standout total performance herd sire. He is the heaviest
muscled bull with a wide butterfly top, huge rump and explosive rear quarter
that I’ve ever witnessed. His progeny are moderate at birth, fast gaining,
shapely from end to end and powerfully put together. He scanned over a 20
inch ribeye, was fast growing with a big scrotal and gets out and moves like
an athlete. He has tremendous fleshing ease and doability. His dam is also a
unique female that has been highly productive and combines Cocomo Sam,
Ranger, Aiglon, Duke and 809 polled genetics. He is in the top 1% of the breed
for ribeye EPD, top 6% for carcass weight and top 8% for yearling growth.

Ogallala was the high gaining and total performance sire of our 2011 calf
crop. He is extra deep and big bodied, long framed, easy fleshing and thick.
