In 2012 we decided we needed to add a bull that would comple-
ment the moderate, deep ribbed Top Gun daughters. Yeah Boss
was the bull we chose to add. Not only does he have the Rock
Star power and shape but he also has his dam’s performance and
length. He was too high performing to fit the pen of 3 in Denver
as he out grew his flush mates who were 2/3s of the Champion
pen. P.S. He is from the Blockana cow family which we be-
lieve is the best in the breed.

Sometimes you make a major decision and hope it turns out.
Well, we believe purchasing Yardmaster did turn out. His first
calf crop produced results above our expectations. Analyze his
sons and the daughter selling and see if you agree with us. In a
commercial test against Mission Statement his progeny out grew
and when harvested had more Ribeye and Marbling than the
proven sire. We expect a change in his EPD’s with more
progeny.
