Thanks to the Peterson family for the opportunity to stand Genuine Hombre at Pitzer Ranch. We chose this
outcross stud because he is an AQHA Champion/ Performance Champion which is a proven All-Around type
award. We need to stay with lines of horses that win time and time again. It’s a better horse that takes the
miles, different conditions, several different riders, and still be able to win any day they step in the ring.
Between just Hombre and his full sister, Genuine Redbud, they have won the Year-End Hi-Point Award 5
times. They were a total of 42 times High-Point, Reserve, or Top 10. His colts have been exciting. They are
characterized by color, good heads, nice short ears, and have his big soft eye. They’ve been good minded,
real easy to get along with, and are non-confrontational type horses.
