As cattlemen and women we have seen and experienced
massive changes in the last two years. Gone are the times
of record breaking cattle prices and we have witnessed a big
drop in the feeder calf market. Times are going to be more
difficult and with that comes the need for more bang for
your buck. Now is the time for ADDED VALUE. As you take
time from your busy schedule to read through the sale book,
take note of the 40 fall yearling bulls that are big, stout, high
performing bulls. These are bulls bred to add performance to
your calf crop, and also add value to your cow herd through
your replacement heifers. They come from productive cows
that are good uddered, fertile and easy to look at. You will find
a good selection of calving ease bulls for use on your heifers.
As always the cows selling are from the heart of the herd,
and as in years past many have sons in the sale and have
daughters working in the herd. They have done a great job
for me and I expect them to be very productive for their new
owners.
As in the past we will be videoing the cattle and the video and
sale book will be posted to our website before the sale and
we will be broadcasting live on DVAuction. We look forward
