Terms and Conditions:
This sale is conducted under the standard terms and conditions as adopted by the American
Gelbvieh Association. Each animal becomes the buyer’s risk as soon as sold. All persons attending the sale do so at their
own risk.
Hojer Ranch is not responsible for accidents.
Accommodations:
There are several options for flight and lodging. If it is a need to you, give us a call and we will
assist you with reservations and rides to the sale.
Herd Health:
All bulls and heifers have received 2 rounds of Bovishield Gold One, 2 rounds of Ultrabac -7/Somubac,
poured for worms and lice. All bulls will undergo a breeding soundness exam prior to the sale and scrotal circumference
measurements will be available March 6th. All bulls were also ultrasounded and that information can be found under each lot.
Breeding Guarantee:
All bulls will have passed breeding soundness exam prior to the sale and are guaranteed breed-
ers (defined as the ability to settle an average number of healthy cows during the first breeding season), with the exception
due to injury or disease suffered or occurring after sale. Breeding season is defined by 90 days after turnout. If injury should
occur, Hojer Ranch must be notified immediately. We will replace if possible or the buyer will receive a credit (not to exceed
the purchase price of the animal), minus salvage value, towards a purchase next year. See page 42 on heifer guarantee.
Insurance:
Insurance will be available on the day of sale. We strongly encourage all buyers to purchase insurance.

Viewing:
Bulls and heifers are available for viewing anytime at the ranch. They will be transported to Magness Yards
on Saturday, March 4th. Videos of all lots are also available on our website,

Delivery:
Free delivery of all bulls and heifers within 100 miles. Arrangements can be made to deliver bulls to a cen-
tral point outside the 100 mile area and costs will be shared. Hojer Ranch will keep bulls free of charge until May 1, 2017.
After May 1, 2017, a cost of $4/hd/d will be charged for feed. Heifers will be kept free of charge until November 1, 2017.
Registration Papers:
Registration papers will be transferred within 30 days after the sale of the bulls. Heifer papers
will be transferred after heifers are paid in full (see finance program on page 38).
Lunch will be served from 11-1.
All announcements from the block take precedence over all written material.
Hojer Ranch will retain 50% semen interest in all bulls.
