Dear Cattlemen and Cattlewomen,
Greeting from our family to yours. Hojer Ranch is a family run
operation and we hope that you enjoy the work and effort that
went into this offering that we bring you this year. This year is
very special as it is our 25th Year of being in the Seed Stock
business. In reflection, we have crossed several bridges and
addressed many lows and enjoyed many highs and we made it!!

will enjoy the journey. It is an exciting time and I hope that you
will enjoy this moment with us. We will have
CAKE!!
This offering will continue the tradition of high performance and
docile disposition balanced with calving ease and maternal
strength, so you can utilize your purchase for both a terminal
cross or a maternal cross to meet your needs. During these
changing times in the cattle business, it will be very important
that you put upward pressure the performance of your herd to
find every efficiency possible to generate both pounds and ultimately profit. Your cows are built to produce so challenge
them to produce more. At the same time, you will find different levels of carcass quality in this offering with some of the
highest marbling bulls being offered in the Gelbvieh Breed today. Build your calves with what you need and take a look at
the females in this catalog to build your cow herd for your future.

Again this year we are offering both Winter Yearling and Spring Yearlings. In addition, we are offering our first Fall Bulls to
the offering. Our “Fall Bulls” were not a result of open cows carried over but rather moving our December and January
heifers forward to calving in September. This puts the right kind of pressure on fertility. For comparison purposes, you
should compare performance data against other bulls within these three different groups for ultimate accuracy.
Please call Blake or myself with any questions and we will always have the coffee pot on if you would like to view the
offering at the ranch prior to the sale. The bulls will be transported to the Magness facility on Saturday, March 4th, 2017
and we will be at the yards on Saturday and Sunday to meet and visit as well.
Again this year, we will have DVAuction to service those of you that are not able to attend the sale on March 6th. We can
help you set up your computer if you have not used the service. This offering of Bulls and Heifers are of the quality that are
