regarded as a potential because of the pedigree.
Welcome to the 54th Annual Central Kentucky Angus Association Winter Sale. This sale has stood the test of time as the “Showcase Event of CKAA”,
by providing an outstanding set of Angus genetics, be it show heifers, herd replacements, bulls, embryos or semen. This 2018 offering includes rep-
resentatives from each of these categories, while at the same time, offering a wide selection of bloodlines that are in high demand in the current
Angus market.
The female consignments of this year include 20 really nice open heifers that are ready to breed for spring 2019 calves and to compete in the 2018
show circuit. 37 cows with 23 calves at side will sell and the age, bloodlines, and quality of this group will stand your keenest scrutiny. Also selling,
will be a selection of embryos and 196 straws of semen from several leading breeders.
CKAA believes in supporting our young people, and as you study this catalog, you will note the history of a strong scholarship program, photos
from the 2017 CKAA Junior Show, and the schedule for the 2018 Junior Show. Plan to be present on June 24, 2018 for an enjoyable day of good
food, good fellowship and to support these Juniors. They are the future of our industry.
As always, we will do everything possible to make your attendance at a CKAA sale a comfortable and rewarding experience. If I or any of the sale
staff or consignors can assist you with matters regarding this sale, please contact us. We look forward to your presence on January 27, 2018.
