papers on her granddam were never transferred so she sells as a commercial heifer. This

These heifers were handpicked out of a 120 heifers from my dad, Gerald
Twedt’s herd. They are Simmental-Red Angus cross heifers. The Simmental
bulls used are mostly Kjelgaard Simmental bulls and the Red Angus are Twedt
Red Angus bulls. This is one awesome pen of heifers. The heifers are Bangs
vaccinated and guaranteed open.
These heifers were all weighed on January 5 and were weighing an average
weight of 775 lbs. with the top heifer weighing 875 lbs. and the smallest heifer
weighing 715.They are one even group of heifers. These heifers could go into
anyone’s herd and make a difference backed by years of genetic selection for
fertility and performance. This is a must-see group of heifers.

This complete set of stylish heifers is from the top of our commercial herd. We
kept very few replacements out of the commercial herd this year. Putting these
heifers in the sale was a tough decision to make because we have seen what
their dams have produced, a consistent type year after year. They yield heifers
that are fertile and steers that weigh up. These heifers are out of moderately
framed cows with quality udders, breeding longevity, and phenotypically
stand out. This group of heifers had an average weaning weight of 580 lbs. on
October 1. In the beginning of January, they averaged 760 lbs. They were fed
corn screenings, silage, hay, distillers and a complete mineral package. This
custom ration allowed for these heifers to slowly mature in order to insure
longevity and more milk capacity. The genetics behind these heifers will allow
them t produce growing type of calves and outstanding replacements. Five of
these heifers are black Red Angus heifers (black Simmental cows bred to Red
Angus).

DCC Iron Mountain 910X 358, G A R Prophet, Silver Creek Dakota Ambush, S
