Welcome
Cattlemen,
We would like to welcome you to
our annual production sale. It has
been roller coaster in the cattle
market over the past year and
it’s hard to know where the cattle
market is headed but the demand
for Red Angus cattle is higher than
ever. One place you certainly don’t
want to cut costs is in your genet-
ics. This set of bulls is one power-
ful set that will meet your needs in
calving ease, growth, maternal and
structural soundness.
These bulls were weaned on Sept.
22 without creep feed. We feel it’s
important not to push the bulls
along too fast and it shows us how well each cow and calf is performing
on mom’s milk and grass. The bulls are then feed a growing diet of corn
silage, corn, distillers and grass hay along with a Vigortone mineral to help
promote semen development.
For the first time, we will be offering you Embryo Transfer calves. These
calves are out of our top two cows. The maternal traits and performance
in these calves is outstanding. They are a fun group to see. Many of the ET
calves have birthweights that are pretty high. This is due to the recip cow
drastically affecting the BW of the calves. All of these ET calves will work
on cows just fine. We have 50K’d a number of these ET calves and Lot 1 to
help us understand where they will be for BW and CE EPDs. This data will
be available sale day.
We also have calves this year out of our new herd sire, Rouse Epitome,
that was one of the high sellers at Biebers’ two years ago. The rest of the
bulls are out of breed-leading AI sires.
We are again selling an excellent group of registered bred heifers and
commercial open heifers. These heifers are outstanding. If you are looking
for a good group of breds or opens, these will be tough to beat.
We want to thank each and everyone one of you who has purchased cattle
from us in the past as well as our future buyers. We can’t operate without
you guys, so thank you. If you have any questions about the offering
please feel free to give us a call or check our website for up-to-date EPDs
and information.

Thank you for making plans to attend
our second annual Angus bull sale.
We are third-generation ranchers in the
heart of North Dakota. We use proven
family practices and meticulous man-
agement. We have carefully built our
herd with traits such as reproductive
efficiency, docility and performance, all
in moderately framed cattle.
We were lucky enough to come by an opportunity a few years ago to
purchase some high-quality cows from Silver Creek Angus and Mogck
Angus. All of these cows produced sale bulls and high-end replacement
heifers for the last several years. We have been blessed to implement
them into our herd.
This set of bulls is the most uniform group of bulls that we have raised.
Over half of them are out of the breed-leading A.I. sires.
These bulls have been fed a ration of alfalfa, corn silage, corn and dry
distillers. These bulls were fed to grow and mature but not pushed too
hard to help promote longevity of the bull. The results allow us to share
our success with you. You’ll be pleased with your investment.
At weaning, the bull calves and sale heifers received Vista Once SQ,
Vision 7 Somnus, vaccinations and pour-on dewormer. Health papers
will be furnished sale date for interstate shipment.
In this catalog you will find bulls with larger birth weights. Each calf
born on our facility is weighed on an electric scale. These weights are
100% accurate because they are not taken with a foot tape or lifted up
with a bouncing scale. These dams have the pelvic capacity in which to
have a larger birth weight calf and their calves are shaped right with a
small head and smooth in their shoulder allowing them to be born with
no assistance. These bulls are in the sale because they have something
to offer you.
The open heifers in this offering are coming from the first cut of com-
mercial heifers. It was difficult to let some of these girls go, knowing
what their dams have done and the phenomenal potential they have.
Whether you are a returning customer or a new friend, we appreciate
your support for the betterment of our industry.
Please call anytime with questions. We thank you for your business.
