16th Annual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Making Contest
Rules & Information
• The Ice Cream Making Contest will be a cook-off contest.
• The ice cream must be made from scratch on-site to qualify.
• Ice cream contest sponsors will provide table, milk, cream, pasteurized eggs, sugar, half and
half, ice, toppings (chocolate syrup, etc.), salt, vanilla, dishes and spoons for serving.
• Contestants will provide mixer, extension cord, other kitchen mixing tools,
secret
ingredients.
• Judges will taste the ice cream straight from the ice cream maker to avoid melting.
• Recipes MUST be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce by January 30, 2016 to allow time
to purchase ingredients. (List ingredients you will need sponsors to provide. Contestants are
not required to reveal
secret
ingredients.)
• Get ready for hundreds of people to line up for FREE homemade ice cream!!
• Entrants must pre-register to determine booth assignment.
