Selling 72 Lots
Dear Angus Producers,
I would like to welcome you to our 19th Annual Upper Cumberland Angus Association “Spring Time Select” Female Sale. This has been
one of the most successful, reputable, association sales in the Southeast.
We have had lots of moisture this winter, and green grass is here. This will be a great opportunity to buy a solid set of young Angus
replacement females. This is an excellent time to buy cattle, as the demand for these quality black replacement females will only get stronger.
Cattle prices have stabilized and the feeder cattle market seems to be on solid ground so we can now expand the cow herd for the future.
Cattlemen, if you are looking for a solid set of productive cows that will go home and work for you, I urge you to attend this sale. This
sale offering will include cow-calf pairs, bred heifers, and a select few open heifers and bulls backed by reputation breeders. You will have the
opportunity to buy good quality, A.I. sired genetics as good as anywhere in the industry.
We would like to give special thanks to Richview Farms, Neal Richardson, of Lancing, TN, for their donation of the scholarship heifer
this year. Neal gave us the pick of their fall bred heifers. This bred heifer is truly a great individual! She is sired by Connealy Mentor out of
a Final Answer daughter. She will be selling safe in calf to Remedy, the popular Select Sires bull. You will have the opportunity to buy this
scholarship heifer which would not otherwise be for sale. Neal has donated this heifer to support students who want to further their education
and hopefully become a part of the agriculture industry. You can build a herd around this good young female.
Please be sure to join us Friday evening, April 29, 2016 for the association annual dinner and membership meeting. I would like to show
special appreciation to those individuals and businesses who donated auction items to benefit the “scholarship heifer package.” Please call on
them if they can be of service to you for your farming needs.
Make plans to attend the sale and buy this excellent quality, reputation set of cattle with confidence. Please give me a call with any ques-
tions you may have concerning the sale.
Sincerely,
Richard D. Brown
