TERMS —
Terms of the sale are cash. Every animal will be sold to the highest bidder with the auc-
tioneer settling disputes as to bids. Announced changes in catalog information sale day take prece-
dence over printed material in this catalog. All cattle are the buyer’s property as soon as sold and will
be cared for a reasonable length of time at the buyer’s risk. Neither Stuber Ranch nor any person
connected with this sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise.
GUARANTEE —
Every animal in this sale is, to the best of our knowledge, free from any disease or
defect. Any known defect will be called at sale time. All animals are guaranteed breeders. If an animal
fails to breed after a trial of six months, it may be returned to the seller if in good condition and in
compliance with North Dakota Health Regulations. The seller reserves the right to try said animal for
six months, and if it proves a breeder, return it to the buyer at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves
to be a non-breeder, either an animal of comparable rank will be substituted or credit given
in a future sale on an animal for animal basis.We assume no liability, legal or otherwise, to
make any further compensation to the buyer. No other warranty of any nature is expressed
or implied.
DELIVERY —
Delivery will be made in groups of five registered animals or on purchases of
$5000 or more to central points up to 300 miles. We will cooperate with buyers on delivery of
all cattle regardless of number or distance.
No delivery provided on commercial cattle.
ABSENTEE BIDS —
Anyone wishing to bid who cannot attend the sale may place phone
or mail bids by contacting Roger or Duane Stuber, or any listed sale representative. Sight-
unseen purchases are at the buyer’s approval upon receiving the animals.
HEALTH —
Stuber herd health is excellent. North Dakota is Bovine Brucellosis-Free and
accredited Bovine Tuberculosis-Free. Females are officially calfhood Bangs vaccinated.
Individual health papers will be furnished for shipment anywhere. All cattle are on a com-
plete preconditioning program.
PERFORMANCE —
Cattle are on a complete performance evaluation program with
records kept on about every thing that can be measured. We will provide any extra in-
formation you may need. We are recognized by the American Hereford Association as
a
GOLD STAR BREEDER.
ULTRASOUND —
Sale cattle will be ultrasounded and data provided on a supplement
sheet. There is a strong correlation between ultrasound measurement of yearling breeding
cattle and the actual carcass measurement of their progeny. We have years of ultrasound
data and all sale cattle have carcass EPDs. If you desire, that information can be provided.
