We welcome you once again to the heart of the Bluegrass. In the last
several years we have been blessed with very brisk private treaty bull
sales. Due to increased numbers and an aggressive embryo program it
is time to share these excellent genetics through this auction.
The bulls selling are basically the same genetic packages that were so
well received in our fall production sale. Lot 1, SRA 10X 4059 is a flush
brother to our sale topper SRA Rita 4044. SRA 10X 4059 is a thick,
correct 10X son whose dam GAR Objective 1067 is also the dam of
GAR Ingenuity, the Select Sire breed leader in both marbling and $B.
Our goals at Solid Rock Angus include breeding cattle with well-
balanced maternal and growth EPDs, while always being aware of
the importance of carcass traits. The Angus breed is synonymous
with calving ease and carcass merit. There are many calving ease
acceptable bulls in this sale, but remember, if you’re buying your bull for
cows, they can handle more birth weight.
These bulls, without reservation, are the best I’ve had my hands on in
over 45 years in the Angus breed. Come early, examine the bulls and
