Welcome to our 2016 Production Sale!
Dear Friends and Cattle Producers,
On behalf of everyone at Poss Angus, we would like to thank you for your consideration on our 25
th
annual pro-
duction sale. As we get ready to send our first born off to college, we are reminded that our family, as well as our
business has grown, progressed, and united over the past 25 years. Our passion for the Angus Industry and loyalty
to our customers has remained constant over the years. Our progression and dedication to bringing high mater-
nal, moderate framed, docile females with great udder quality, is what gives us the end result of a heck of a set of
bulls for you to buy with great confidence.
Our goal at Poss Angus is to offer you Leading Edge Genetics that provide you with calving ease, growth, and
carcass traits. To give you the best bull you can get for your money, we have utilized DNA testing to provide you
with genomic enhanced EPD’s. We have also continued to ultrasound each bull for carcass traits which are incor-
porated into the EPD’s as well. All genomic data and ultrasound information is incorporated in the EPD’s. EPD’s
were last updated on 2-29-16.
We are grateful for the friendships we have made through our business and we sincerely thank all the customers
who have made our success and progress possible.
Once again our salewill be an all video sale, and no animal
will go through the ring, and videos will be posted on DVAuction a coupleweeks prior to the sale.
Animals
will once again be in pens as usual for viewing, and will be ready for loadout at any time during the sale.
As always, all bulls are guaranteed against injury or death through the first breeding season. If you have any
problems or are dissatisfied, let us know and we will get it taken care of to the best of our ability.

It is an honor that Danny and Kristi Poss asked me to write a letter for their catalog. If you have ever met the
Poss’ or spent time on the ranch you quickly see this is their life 24/7 . Their four kids and the crew are all active
in this operation and I humbled that they invited me to work with them in their program.
I can confirm few people work harder on genetics and Angus cattle then Danny Poss. He is keenly aware of the
genetics on his ranch along with the activity of the Angus business across the country. That hard work is to your
benefit. The operation is growing and genetically advancing. This offering is proof of that growth. The quality
is deep and progressive.
We just finished up doing the video work and it is usually a very good sign when I keep asking what is that
bull? The offering is focused to the commercial cattleman as they know and understand the importance to
meet and surpass the needs and expectations of their commercial customers. The offering has some of the elite
“spread” herd sire prospects I have seen in 2016. It would be very much worth your time to come and see these
bulls and the entire offering. Please feel free to contact me as there are several out-crossed herd-sire prospects.
If you are looking to increase your replacement pen of heifers there are excellent females in this offering. They
are better and better each year. Take a look at the DVAuction videos as I think they represent the cattle very well.
