Selling 8 Invitro Embryos put up and stored at TransOva Centerville, TX.
• Everyone knows that most of the marbling in the SG breed without grade up can be trailed to the Navidad herd of Tom & Elsie
Farek. Many of the cattle today will go back to their line breeding cattle that were so productive in their kind, but had stabilzed
carcass traits. Navidad ranch was visited by King Ranch in tha late 90’s to evaluate their records and cattle. Pretty impressive
for herd of under 100 mama cows. Navidad 519 is currently the number three sire for marbling in the entire breed. We deciced
to try to recreate Navidad genetics by taking a tremendous Navidad donor and combining her with an own son of another
Navidad 607 owned by Harris Riverbend and Briggs Ranches. We mated our donor Navidad 457 who is still productive as a 13
year old cow with Harris Riverbends/Corporron Acres who was the high selling bull at the 2016 Briggs Bull Sale Navidad 8/5
selling for $18,000 to Corporron Acres. Top 2% Marbling, Top 5%WW and Top 10%YW, HCWT and REA.

Recently, in the Jackson, MS sale 3 Vegas calves averaged $8,133. Four out of the six heifer calf and bull calf classses at the
Nattional show were won by Vegas progeny.
• The ownership of Vegas has decided to offer up for sale only 100 units of semen in the year 2017. With that said, if you want
to be part of and make cattle with“breed acceptance”to the outside beef industry, then this is your chance. As one very large
progressive commercial cattleman said of Vegas, “If the Santa Gertrudis breed made them all look like him, they would own
the Southern cattle industry.”
