When we think about a mating that truly combines two of LFE’s best, the mating of Com-
missioner to LFE 123X comes to the top. 123X has quickly worked her way to the front of our
herd with her ability to produce highly marketable progeny. She is beautiful uddered, strides
on a big foot, is complete in her structure and has mated well with any bull we have bred her
to. Her first calf was a lead off Stubby son in our 2013 sale to Westman Farms, in the 2014
sale her Full Throttle son, Strong Arm was a key member of our lead off pen of bulls and he
now resides at Hill Top Holding and Anwender Cattle. This summer Garth Cutler selected her
Gotham heifer calf as his pick of our 2015 born heifer calves which he purchased in the fall
of 2014. Commissioner was our high selling bull in 2014 to Rust’s, his first progeny are gear-
ing up to be sold in a couple weeks and the sons he produced in his first year are our most
consistent group and are mas-
sive and powerfully bred. We
have a good number of these
embryos on the ground now
and they are standouts with the
look they have and thickness
they carry at just a month old.
