This is a brand new in box Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 GameGuard bolt action rifle chambered for .30-06 Springfield. The GameGuard series
is a very limited edition run of rifles only available through a few Texas distributors. The Series 1-style stock has a distinctive GameGuard
camouflage, extremely effective in arid desert environments, and it draws a lot of attention at the range. This rifle features a 24” Cold Hammer
Forged barrel with 1:10” twist rate and bead blasted Matte Blued Finish. The Vanguard action incorporates a one piece fluted bolt with three gas
ports and two locking lugs for a 90-degree bolt lift. The bolt shroud is fully enclosed for extra strength and structural integrity, and features a
traditional side release of the bolt assembly. The receiver is drilled and tapped for securely mounting optics. Embellishments such as a knurled
bolt knob add to the beauty and value of this popular rifle.
The Weatherby Series 2 rifles feature a match quality two-stage trigger and guaranteed SUB-MOA accuracy. The Match Quality Two-Stage
Trigger is “creep free” for consistent let-off and is adjustable down to 2.5 lbs. The trigger housing is constructed of lightweight alloy. The proven
Weatherby Vanguard action (Mauser-style, dual opposed lug design) SUB-MOA Accuracy Guarantee ensures .99” or less 3-shot group at 100
yards when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. A Full Length 24” Barrel provides maximum velocity and increased accuracy.
All barrels are cold hammer forged for long life.
