The Igenity Production Index that is indicated for each heifer is a weighted rating that takes into ac-
count the heifer’s Igenity score for each trait and its percentage rating. For example, the weighted sort
criteria consist of the 30% Stayability, 20% Percent Choice, 15% for Average Daily Gain, 15% for Feed
Efficiency, 10% for Maternal Calving Ease and 10% for Tenderness. This helpful selection tool can
assist with identifying the heifers with the best combination of DNA scores based on these criteria.
