General Information
LOCATION:
Sale at farm, located one mile due west of Wingate on SR 55,
then 1/2 mile south on N. Mountain Road. Wingate is five miles north of I-74
on SR 25.
HEALTH:
Cattle will have papers to go anywhere. All females four months
old will be vaccinated for bangs. All cattle are vaccinated for Blackleg, BVD,
IBR, Leptospirosis and Vibriosis--all cows, semi-annually. All cows will be
pregancy tested before sale. Veterinarian--West Central Veterinary Service,
Veedersburg, Indiana.
TRANSPORTATION:
Cattle will be at buyer’s risk as soon as sold. We
will continue to care for them for a reasonable period of time and will assist in
every way possible to group cattle for delivery.
GUARANTEE:
Animals sold in this sale are guaranteed by the owner to be
breeders, provided they are properly handled and cared for by the purchaser.
If any open heifer fails to breed, the seller must be notified by age 20 months,
otherwise the animal is no longer guarantee in any way. Any female which is
stated to be pregnancy checked safe is guaranteed to be pregnant at the time
of the sale. Females cannot be guaranteed if they are subjected to estrus-syn-
chronization or super-ovulation treatment. Any female with a calf at side is
considered to be a breeder and will no further guarantee in this regard.
TERMS:
Cash or check.
FLUSH RIGHTS:
Seller reserves the right to flush any female at the seller’s
expense and the buyer’s convenience.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All announcements from the auction block will take
precedence over printed matter in the catalog. Any disputes as to bids and bid-
ders shall be settled by the auctioneer, whose decision shall be final and shall
bind purchaser to the announcement of the sale and sale price.
