All summer visitors have gravitated towards this heifer when they walk into Jacobson’s replacement
heifers. Beautiful in her kind and make up, Kalli 5056 is one of the most balanced heifers the
Jacobsons have ever sold.
Her sire, C-Bar Evolution 107Y, is the popular calving-ease ABS sire that has been the alternative to
the Conquest, Packer and Redemption bloodlines in the breed. Known for his exceptional pheno-
type, his progeny include some of the breed’s most successful show cattle to date, including the ’14
National Junior Show Champion female and the ’16 National Grand Champion Bull.
Her dam, Kalli 9010, offers a unique pedigree, stacking the outcross RR Bentley son, 5L Black Ben,
in both her paternal and maternal tabulations. Maternally, she stems from a foundation Logan bred
dam from the Seeger Red Angus program in New Salem, ND.

Cedar 5103 happens to be the #1 Marbling scanning heifer in the Jacobson program, posting an
amazing 5.78% IMF with a 153 ratio! Her 1.04 Marbling EPD ranks in the elite top 1% of the breed.
Her sire, C-Bar Eldorado 114Z, is just beginning to scratch the surface among the Red Angus
industry. His progeny dominated Jacobson’s ’15 born calf crop, and his sons topped their ’16
bull sale. Now one of the proven balanced sires in the breed, his progeny combine low birth,
performance, marbling and muscle in a very attractive, desirable package. Just this fall he sired the
$30,000 high-selling female in Rich Red Angus’ female sale.
The dam, Cedar 2065, is a top young ET daughter of Jacobson Shooter, out of the famed Foster’s
Cedar 522 donor cow from Shepard Settlement Farm in NY. The granddam is none other than the
famed Badlands Cedar 922 donor that was a many-time Champion and the foundation behind
some of the breed’s most powerful genetics.
