Once again, it is an honor and privilege to work with the Botna Valley Angus Association for the 3rd consecutive year. I really enjoy working with this group of
reputable Angus breeders that are committed to offering some of the finest Angus genetics available in this 4th Annual Earl Marshall 103 Sellabration Sale. These
breeders are committed to keeping the Earl Marshall story alive. This King of Sires was born in the Botna Valley region 103 years ago. I am very proud of the set of
cattle we have lined up for this sale. Mostly, I am excited for the kind of genetics you as a buyer will be able to acquire in this sale, and I truly believe it is the best
offering we have had in the 4 years of the Earl Marshall Sale. While yes, we have found ourselves in a down cattle market, however, I see reason for optimism and
to start building your cow herd with genetics like these that are in this great offering of elite Angus genetics.
Across the globe, Earl Marshall is known as the greatest sire of his time. His influence on the breed can still be seen to this very day with more than 15 million
descendants of Earl Marshall registered to the American Angus Association. Some of his accomplishments include: sired 6 international grand champions; the
first prize get-of-sire at the International for seven consecutive years. He and his sons made such an impact on the breed that today, 103 years later, nearly every
pedigree can be traced to him several times.
